If I'm fortunate enough to become Merlin's scholar in the Marketing Academy's programme, I know that it's not just me that will benefit but Skyscanner overall.
Skyscanner likes to be contrary, and although our values may be oddly expressed (like "Your Mother Uses Skyscanner"), they are true to the heart of the company.
Another one of our values is called "Master, Teach, Learn". We truly believe in the importance of mastering your own domain, but in a company as fast growing and ever changing as ours, that will never suffice.
You're not only responsible for your own development but for sharing your knowledge with others. We have set up the Skyscanner University and I hope that whatever life and "domain" lessons I learn from the Marketing Academy, I'll take them with me to share with others in the Skyscanner University programme.
